Simplified Viewing
Since 2019, the HD+ offering has been directly integrated into numerous TV sets, allowing reception without additional technology. To make the TV viewing experience even more convenient, we have enhanced the TV user interface overall and developed the HD+ Comfort feature.
We focused on creating an appealing and simple interface that enriches the general TV experience and integrates the key features of the HD+ Comfort function: program restart, access to media libraries, and a detailed TV guide with search functionality.

The goal was intuitive usability. The challenge primarily lay in merging the remote control, as the control element, with the functionalities of an app in the simplest way possible.
Enhanced Enjoyment
During the development of the HD+ Comfort feature, numerous prototypes were built, reviewed, thoroughly tested, discarded, and rebuilt. It was essential to conduct tests under realistic conditions – with a TV and remote control – to create an intuitive and straightforward experience for the user.
