In this Focus Group held in Bern, Switzerland, our client JTI, a leading tobacco company, endeavored to gain insights directly from real users of their retailer platform, JTI TOP. Through meticulous preparation and strategic planning, the workshop brought together a diverse group of participants, enabling them to articulate their experiences and challenges with the platform.


The workshop's primary objective was clear: to gather comprehensive insights into user needs and behaviors within the platform. As a central retention and loyalty tool for retailers, understanding user perspectives was paramount.

The challenge lay in navigating the complexities of user engagement and platform utilization to deduce meaningful insights. Sensory-Minds’ task was multifaceted: from organizing the survey and selecting participants to facilitating the workshop itself, each step aimed to unravel user experiences and identify areas for improvement.

Enhanced potentials

Through profound preparation and strategic planning, the workshop brought together a diverse group of 8 users from all over Switzerland, alongside representatives from JTI and our Sensory-Minds team. Structured discussions enabled participants to articulate their experiences and challenges with the platform. The outcome was a bunch of actionable recommendations and innovative ideas for content and functionality enhancements, meticulously documented by us.


These insights will lead to tangible improvements to the JTI TOP platform, resulting in increased user engagement and satisfaction.
